Strength in Body and Mind

I started running in junior high, which began my life-long love of exercise and fitness. In high school, I was still running but also started swimming and joined the gymnastics team. College introduced me to group exercise classes (my favorite was step aerobics!). Once my daughters were born I found I needed something new, in addition to running, since my body was not responding how I wanted it to (where did my abs go?) and that's when I found a barre studio walking distance from my house. I quickly fell in love with how these movements made me feel (a happier mom of two toddlers) and my body quickly responded with toned muscles. After taking classes regularly for five years I became an instructor. In 2016 I started my new career as a fitness instructor and never looked back. I loved being in the studio and quickly learned how to also teach cardio and trampoline classes. Once COVID-19 hit and the studio closed, I took some time off until a friend encouraged me to teach via Zoom and here we are!

Other interesting tidbits about me, in a 12-month period from 2016-2017, I ran 3 marathons. I have a Master's degree in Public Health and have published a handful of quality improvement papers. I love cats, I'm quite petite and married the man I had a crush on in the 7th grade.

I have been passionate about health, nutrition and fitness my whole life and love exercising because of how it makes me feel. I love motivating people to get moving, especially those who hate exercise.

Want to look and feel great? See you soon!
